To welcome Donna to the team we asked her a few questions.

Why do you love working in recruitment?

It’s has to be for the variety and impact. In recruitment, each day provides new challenges, it holds plenty of variety and it’s fast paced.  It allows you to meet and support some outstanding people and work in collaboration with some fantastic businesses.  Whether it’s a temporary hire or a permanent hire, you positively impact your candidates working life and equally enhance your client’s business, by enabling them to move forward and achieve more with the right individuals on board.

5 words to best describe myself

  • Independent
  • Honest
  • Dedicated
  • Energetic
  • Positive

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I think this changed on a weekly basis in my teens, but the one thing that I remember taking some hold with me was working with animals. I took up volunteering at a local animal shelter and loved it but not enough to pursue a career. I much prefer the comfort of an office!

What are your favourite TV shows?

I’m totally hooked on “Games of thrones”. I also recently enjoyed “Suits” and “House of Cards”.

What is your favourite song at the moment?

Right now, it has to be Lukas Graham 7 years and Zara Larsson’s, Lush it has a great summer feel about it.

If you ruled the world for one day what would you change?

Banish all the evil in the world!

We wish Donna the best of luck at Ionic! If you are interested in speaking to Donna regarding any future vacancies she may have please call 01925 748 320 or email
