Decision Recruitment, the Construction and Social Housing Recruitment Agency specialists has undergone a complete company rebrand

The Recruitment Consultancy will be now known as Ionic and the rebrand includes a new website, logo and increased marketing/PR presence. The name change is part of an ongoing business growth strategy that aims to reach a projected business turnover of £5.3m in the current financial year.

As part of the rebrand, the company has made significant investment into a new state of the art company website, which is also mobile optimised and has ‘live chat’ functionality built into it.The consultancy has invested in mobile optimisation for the website to respond to a changing trend amongst candidates and following a report from, which reveals 42.6% of all visits to their site in August 2014 came from a mobile device.

Speaking about the new company website, Martyn Makinson, Managing Director of Ionic, says “The aim of the new website is to make the process of searching for job advertisements and making contact with our team as easy as possible and to give our candidates and clients a vastly improved experience to that of our competitors websites”

Prior to the rebrand, the Recruitment Consultancy conducted an in-depth survey with its clients and candidates to gain their feedback on how they perceived the business and the overall company brand. By listening to feedback from the results of the survey, this ushered Ionic to opt for a modernised look and more personable feel to give the brand more ‘personality’ than what is currently on offer in the market.

Martyn Makinson, Managing Director of Ionic, says: “The name Ionic signifies more about who we are as a business and the service we provide to our clients and candidates.   We deliver clear procedures, proven systems and a straightforward reliable service; which is reflected in our new branding and straightforward business approach ”

Ionic has successfully helped over 3,850 candidates to secure roles, since its launch in 2010. Ionic is hoping to secure an additional 500+ temporary and permanent roles over the coming months.

The rebrand coincides with the opening of a new office in Solihull, near Birmingham, and Ionic plans to employ eight new members of staff across the business, bringing the total number of staff in the company up to 27. The opening of the office in Birmingham forms part of the company business plan to achieve over 70% growth in the current financial year. This is representative of a 30% increase from the previous financial year.

Commenting on the expansion, Martyn said: “One of our key business objectives is to work with our clients and candidates at a local level and this is also the next stage of our business growth. Our Recruitment Consultants are specialists within a specific sector and geographical location and know their market in great detail, so we are confident that we will achieve our business targets and objectives.”

“It’s an exciting time for the business and we are looking forward to talking to current and new clients and candidates about how we can help them achieve their personal/business goals and objectives in the coming months.”
